Have always wondered why milton trains avoid the stop at bloor. Although you can easily get from bloor to union or kipling go catch a milton train, it would be nice to be able to get to milton from more places in toronto other than union and kipling

I have took the go Train lakeshore east from union and got off to Danforth, and I walk along main square, and there's a canadian tire there nearby. Cool video.

Yes there are a lot of trees. However, think about how early pioneers coped with managing this land to settle themselves. Look at the shape of houses and pitch of the roofs to offload the snow in winter. Consider the tidal bore flows up the rivers and how the soils absorb the waters. Think about the changes in terrain As a train traveller I look at everything I see and think about our Canadian history to gain some perspective of how as a country we were created and survived. Enjoy the ride, relax, ask questions of others. Bring along a travel book to acquaint yourself with the road less travelled. Share the adventure and learn more about Canada. Gives some thought to how the Original Inhabitants of this land coped before our society attempted to domesticate and change everything. Canada is a land of ever changing vistas and scenes. I have in 2024 had American travellers ask why we dint cut down the trees along the railway so they can see something. I remind them we are seeing something… a complex land of ever changing environments.. our waters serves as home for the wild animals of the forest, the birds of the fresh uncontaminated air and waters. Nothing is wasted and all is in perfect harmony with itself.
